Tank Stars

Two tanks face each other and take turns. On your turn you set your aim, find the angle that will land the shot and fire. Then your opponent does the same. The aim is to hit them before they hit you back.

The arsenal is large: Poki lists missiles, nukes, railguns and plasma guns among the weapons. Money earned in play goes on upgrading your firepower, so the tank you field later is stronger than the one you started with.

You can play online or offline with friends. The controls are the same on every device: set your aim, then click or tap to shoot.

• Correct from your last shot. If it landed short or long, change the angle a little rather than starting from scratch.

• Fire each weapon a few times. Missiles, nukes, railguns and plasma guns are all in the arsenal, and each is worth learning before a close duel.

• Spend money on firepower. Upgrades are how the game turns progress into a stronger tank.

• Remember that every shot gets an answer. Hitting first matters, because the opponent fires back on their turn.

• Play a round with a friend. Poki lists both online and offline play with friends.
